The final shot in the series. This isn’t a HDR image. Its just a normal image adjusted in Lightroom. I nearly missed this shot. It was cold, wet, I was sinking everytime I stood still and the sun had gone down. In my heart I knew there was still a few more images I could squeeze out the location without the sun. I’d love to do a long exposure with star trails. I hope people have enjoyed this series, I know I enjoyed my trip there and I plan to revisit it next time the sky looks right.

i was down here a few months ago and your quite right about sinking, only it was my tripod sinking and packed up and went home. its a great photo and once again you captured the colours perfect with the iron man just to the left of the fram.

Very nice. I’m quite new to DSLR Photography, and down at Crosby beach is one of my favourite places to practice. The sunsets there can be breathtaking!
