Diana Ashby works at Red Kitchen just off Bold Street in the Ropewalks. After my morning walk around town I couldn’t help but stop off for a nice bacon butty. The smell was fantastic. She’s worked here for about 4 and a half years now. They’re open from 7am till 4pm and on weekends open at 11pm and close at 6. She said its a tough shift but it has to be done. Their location puts them right in the thick of a crazy Saturday night out and she’s seen all sorts.
