I remember visiting Princess Dock as a kid. They had a museum there in one of the large warehouses. Sunday was the first time I’ve walked that far down and I was blown away by the development there. The view reminded me of Toronto. Its strange really as I’ve seen the construction many times from the road side and from Wirral but there was just something different about it from this angle. Maybe it was the reflections. I can’t wait for the buildings to be finished, it should look fantastic.

Nice view Pete 🙂 Before I even read your caption, I thought you had pulled an old Toronto shot out of your archives – the skyline bears a resemblance; this is added to by your distinctive processing
Thanks 🙂 I just came round the corner and it felt like I was back in Toronto. Its amazing the changes in Liverpool.
I really must get out more next time I am home visiting the family. All I can remember down there was old rundown warehouses. I think the museum was the Large Object Store – buses, fire engines, rockets.
Wow just a great HDR one of the best I’ve seen. Was it one raw three exposures or three raws? What program are you using?
damn !!! It blows !!!
I like the composition, just goes to show what you can do hand-held.
Incredible use of multiple exposures – splendid work. Great tonality in the blues and the oranges – they play off one another very well.
Fantastic HDR, I really like the feel it adds to the image without looking too over-processed or fake. Great stuff!
