Miss Heddy Heights

So I’m sure some of you are wondering whats going on here. Well for the last 2 months the Liverpool Biennial has been running. Running along side the Biennial was the Independents Biennial who asked me to take some pictures of their events. It was like nothing I expected. To make people aware of the Independents they had hired Miss Heddy Heights to get peoples attention, and well putting a Burlesque model into a busy Liverpool train station at 8am does get peoples attention. Joining us on the day was a photographer from the Echo who really knew his stuff. While I was going “Um” he was coming up with all sorts of ideas. He was really friendly and just knew exactly what to do. I was lucky enough to be able to squeeze next to the guy while going up the escalator. Heddy also knew her stuff and was just awesome. I spent 3 days following her for the launch, getting mostly candid shots of her working at various venues. She was uber confident at going up to people and getting them talking. All in all it was a great opening to the event. I’ll post some other shots of things from the Biennial over the next few days. Now its finished it’ll be quite nice to look back on it.
