The Liverpool Irish Festival
This year there was a new refreshed version of the Liverpool Irish Festival with Gaelic football (mens and womens), music at St Georges Hall, music in pubs, screen printing, ghostly story telling for kids, electronic Irish music at the Palm House and whiskey tasting at the Belvedere Pub. Bank Holiday Monday Summer Jam at LIMFestival
The final day of LIMF. It rained. I don’t think anyone cared as the music kept on playing. Overall LIMF was a great few days. My highlights were definitely The Lightning Seeds playing with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Seven Street’s ‘You Are Here’ piece with Bill Ryder Jones, Kof, Archangel, Moonwraith and Moongai. — read more
